Noida students score higher than national average in education survey
The Union ministry of education has conducted a nationwide learning outcome level survey with the National Achievement Survey of 2021 or NAS 2021 which revealed that school students of Gautam Budh Nagar have excelled national and state average in all categories. This survey assesses the school education system’s health by evaluating learning competencies. A total of 33,600 students from grades 3, 5, 8, and 10 across 720 districts took part this examination in science, mathematics, English, social science, environment, and language. Renu Singh, the district coordinator for Gautam Budh Nagar’s Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), said, “The exam was conducted to evaluate the educational quality of children when schools opened after a long time due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The students of the district have performed better than the national average in all subjects.”
71 Indian universities make it to the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2022
The Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2022 has placed India in the third position as the most-represented country, having 71 institutes listed this year. With the topmost rank at the 42nd place, the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore has come down from 37th place last year. Other universities that made it to the top 100 include Mysore-based JSS Academy of Higher Chief Knowledge Officer of THE, Phil Baty, said, “This new dataset shows the extraordinarily diverse range of excellence across the Asian continent – with 31 Asian nations/regions making the list. The data demonstrates that Asia is perhaps the most exciting and most dynamic continent for higher education, research and innovation in the world today.”
