Strive, a Skill Development Scheme of the Government of India was launched as a pilot project in Indore on Tuesday. With AIMP as the executing agency, it has started the first batch of their apprenticeship, providing skill development courses in 6 disciplines. The government also plans to provide practical work experience to the apprentices, as it is seen as an essential skill for them to be job-ready.
