The Andra Pradesh government has authorised Rs 200 crores to set up 4 new Skill Development Centres in the district of Kadapa. The government’s decision is based on the need to provide job opportunities to every educated youth in the state. According to SDC chairman Challa Madhusudan Reddy, the training will be extended to students, starting from 6th Standard.

Under the curriculum design, courses will be focused on enabling 2.50 lakh students to get jobs in EMC ( Electronic Manufacturing Cluster) based in the Kopparthi Industrial Estate. Under the program, students can look forward to receiving training through highly sophisticated technology. Read more.
