Two new management courses at Andhra University

The Andhra University, along with Indian Institute of Management-Vizag, has launched an international BBA-MBA programme which has already attracted enrolments from almost 20 countries across the world. In addition to this, BBA logistics, in association with the National Skill Development Corporation as well as the Logistics Skill Council of the Union Government, and MBA logistics and supply chain management, the first to be fully online, has also been introduced off late. The MBA programme has been exclusively designed by the armed forces being for their personnel and dependents. The BBA programme will have the final year devoted to internship programmes. Read more.

Rajeev Chandrasekhar: Govt promulgating new laws to protect internet users

Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, is against the algorithms od social media platforms violating fundamental rights of citizens. As the government creates new laws to protect the users of the internet, intermediaries, like social media platforms, are accountable to those who are aggrieved. Rajeev Chandrasekhar is responsible for skilling more than 2.2cr people even before the outbreak of the global pandemic and 61% of the 22 millions skilled have secured jobs. “We are using digital technology to provide skill training rather than depending on ITIs. The new education policy announced brings in skilling training into schools, engineering colleges,” he added. Read more.
