The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (Special Projects, has collaborated with three textile mills viz. Indian Texpreneurs Federation, The Southern Mills Association and Tamil Nadu Mills Association to conduct a program for textile bodies skill training.

After successful completion of skill training, the candidates are employed in partner mills of these associations. Previously, over 9,000 candidates have been trained and about 6,000 successful candidates have been employed under this scheme.
