India Apprenticeship Forum hosted its flagship event “Leveraging The Power Of Apprenticeships For Creating Human Capital”, on 20th December 2019, at Taj MG Road in Bengaluru.
The first keynote address was by Mr. Surajit Roy, Senior Head, Apprenticeship Division, National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) says, “European countries have taken to apprenticeships in a big way – apprentices comprise 5% of the German workforce whereas in India it is 0.1%. Surajit Roy urges the industry professionals to act now to utilize the full unexplored potential of apprenticeships in India.”
