The ASDC partners with ISIE India and MG Motors to generate employment opportunities

The Automotive Skill Development Council (ASDC) has partnered with ISIE India (Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers) and MG Motor India. This association will address the issues concerning electric vehicles and the sustainable employment of youth. This in turn will create a skilled young man force for the automobile industry.

The association aims to democratize the high-end car technologies in the country through online and offline skill development courses. This partnership is said to have benefits for engineering students under the Centre of Excellence for EV Research and Skill Development- Electric Vehicle Engineering.

“The automobile industry is growing rapidly and moving towards the electric vehicle. Hence skilled engineers are essential to accelerate this transformation and meet the goals set by companies,” said Nikunj Sanghi, president, ASDC. Read more.

Skill & Entrepreneurship University sets up admission for the underprivileged

In an attempt to reach out to the underprivileged population, the Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University set up admission help desks! An admission mobilisation drive was conducted at two youth dominated slum clusters Navjeevan Camp and Transit Camp in Kalkaji.The local MLA and Chairperson of Education Committee of Delhi Assembly Atishi Marlena too took part in the outreach program.

“DSEU team visited door-to-door in the slum clusters and spoke to students who have passed out of 10th and 12th, explaining to them the admission criteria, eligibility, entrance test to various diploma and degree courses along with opportunities for scholarships under various schemes,” said the officials.
