NSDC partnered with Lawsikho: The great mission for skill development

To effectively address the skills gap and enhance the supply of skilled workers, the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and LawSikho, a startup in the legal education sector, intend to orchestrate skill development programmes on a national level. An agreement signing ceremony was held on 22nd June 2022 at the NSDC headquarters at Aerocity, New Delhi, in the presence of Ved Mani Tiwari, COO and officiating CEO of NSDC and other dignitaries. Over three years, the cooperation will benefit over 10,000 students. Students from tier-2 and tier-3 cities, small towns, and villages throughout India will be the main focus of LawSikho. The learners would have the possibility to gain employment through talent arbitrage positions in addition to career opportunities in India. This collaboration, according to experts, will help India’s requirement for a skilled workforce be met and the current gap between the supply and demand of future skills will be met well.
