Technological innovations to improve education sector

The Lenovo Smarter Ed Conclave, a two-day education Conclave that concluded on Friday, brought our discussions ranging on a variety of issues related to the education landscape of the country, the main focus being the future of education intertwined with technology. Technology played a fundamental role in aiding the challenges in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The attendees, including policy makers, thought leaders, educators, as well as industry experts also brought to light the changes in the National Education Policy and government policies that emphasized on the upgradation of the education sector with the help of innovative tools and ideas. Union Minister awards BHEL employees at Utkrishthta Utsav celebrations

The Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited or the BHEL conferred the company’s ‘Excel Awards’ to laudable employees on the occasion of the annual Utkrishthta Utsav. The Chief guest of the event, the Union Minister of Heavy Industries, Mahendra Nath Pandey, also presented the Excel awards to 65 employees from 12 teams. Other staff from manufacturing units, divisions, and offices were able to access the event through Video Conferencing. Pandey also took part in the Vishwakarma Puja and also addressed the gathering, commending BHEL on their commitment towards Government programs from conducting technical training for apprentices as per ‘Skill India Mission’ or contributing to the ‘AatmaNirbhar Bharat’. Union Minister visits project under SANKALP at Dimapur

Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the Union Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Electronics & IT, paid a visit to the Mongken apparel and garment production and training unit in Dimapur on September 18. Mongken is also a convergence project under the SANKALP program. The brand of Mongken was launched by the department of underdeveloped areas in order to create opportunities for local artisans, designers, and craftsmen from Nagaland. Read more.
