The talent search for the WorldSkills Shanghai 2021 has begun in Tamil Nadu with the enrolment of 25,000 students. The selection procedure will begin with district-level competitions to identify the best latent to represent the country for the championship for vocational skills including plumbing, painting, plastic die engineering, 3D digital game art, construction, and health care.

The winners at the district level would compete in state, regional, and national level competitions. The winners in the national meet would represent the country in the WorldSkills competition in 2012. The Government of India would support the students’ training and accommodation after they clear the state level meet.
