The Skill India Mission launched on 16th of July 2015 aims to train 40 crore people in India in different skills by 2020. The mission aims at creating an ecosystem where there is coherence between education, training, and work which enables all of them to empower themselves and make the nation grow stronger at the root level. To have a wide scope and massive reach, the mega mission itself has four initiatives under it to target multiple windows of beneficiaries and governance.
