Chief Minister and Skill Development Minister of Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh have reviewed the status of the PMKVJ. The skill development department has a target of skilling 14,434 persons by 2021. 8,631 people were already trained and 4872 have been given placement.

The data shows, training in electronics and hardware are in high demand, followed by tourism & hospitality and media & entertainment. The chief minister Pema Khandu prefers the high-end skilling programs in tourism and health care services. He also asked the department to focus on providing skill training for excavator operators and call centres.
