Under the chairmanship of the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Sarabjit Singh Walia, a special meeting of the District Executive Committee was held on the Punjab Skills Development Mission.

The Commissioner announced that the Pradhan Mantri Kushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) 3.0 scheme will be started by the end of the year, and will facilitate employment-oriented courses to the young boys and girls of the districts.

District Employment Officer – Rupinder Kaur, General Manager District Industries Center – Amarjit Singh, DPMU Officers, and other industrialists took part in the meeting and expressed their views and suggestions to make the youth skilled as per the growing demands of the industries.
