The Government is forming aspirational skill centers, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra, in every district in the country. These centers will provide authentic information about skill training in the districts. A total of 812 PMKK have been allocated in 707 districts across the country.

723 PMKKs have already been established. Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship promotes the establishment of these PMKKs. 75% of the project investment t is provided through NSDC. The scheme is being monitored under DISHA meeting, chaired by a Member of Parliament.
