Parul University’s Institute of Medical Sciences and Research held a state-level student festival termed as “Skill Fest”. During this 3-day event, skill-based training workshops were conducted to equip the passing out medical students with various fields of medical and paramedical specializations. The workshop was held in line with the Government’s vision of promoting Skill India.

Although skill-based training is a part of the curriculum of the students of the University, this was a unique and innovative approach taken by the University for more hands-on training of their students. More than 700 medical as well as paramedical students from Parul University and other colleges across the state took part in the event.
