The impact of the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY), a program under the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) has been far reached. Today, the program serves dual objectives – offering sustainable livelihood for rural poor along with skilling them to make a respectable living in the society while the industry gets skilled and productive resources in various fields.

The DDU-GKY offers placement-linked skill training to the rural youths under the Ministry of Rural Development, a Government of India initiative.
