On-the-job apprenticeship program to equip students after graduating for supervisory role

The Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) announced a Graduate Apprenticeship Programme offering students on-the-job training along with three degree courses – BBA Retail Management, BMS E-Commerce Operations, and BMS Land Transportation. Once a student completes the 3-year degree, they will have completed a 21-month long apprenticeship period and will be boarded in a supervisory role by any of the industry partners. Neharika Vohra, the vice chancellor professor at DSEU said, “This is a win-win for the industry and young graduates as the industry will be giving training to our students and thereby help to bridge the demand-supply gap that exists.” She also added that the curriculum for the courses under this program will have a hybrid model with the UGC credit system allowing students to gain credits for training and work experience, being exposed to internships, live projects, and field visits.
