To cope with situations like the lockdown, the Odisha Govt. is planning to incorporate digital education in schools. Private educational institutions already have this facility.

In the short term, Government school students up to class 8 are being promoted to the next classes without examinations. The promotion of Class IX students is still pending. The delivery of books for the next academic session has also been delayed. Exams of remaining papers of Plus II students will be conducted after the situation normalizes. The evaluation of answer sheets of HSC examination will begin after the lockdown is lifted.
