The New Delhi Municipal Council (NMDC) will collaborate with the National Skill Development Corporation to provide skill training workshops for 25,000 individuals over the next six months. 2,500 employees and contract workers employed by the NDMC will receive the first phase of the training, according to Satish Upadhyay, vice chairman of the NDMC. 75,000 individuals will receive the training overall, in phases. In the meantime, the civic organisation declared that it would be signing an MoU with IIT-Delhi as part of the National Clean Air Program (NCAP).
