Ministry of EIT collaborates with IBM to enhance employability

The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology and IBM India Pvt Ltd announced their collaboration to create a skilled education system. This collaboration will hopefully contribute many critical thinkers, problem-solvers, and innovators to our country, through the Common Services Centre Academy.

The IBM programs offer courses in various technologies including the Cloud & AI. Meanwhile, the CSC Academy already supports more than 3.7 lakh common service centers (including 60,000 women-only centers). They are also planning to set up 6,000 CSC Academy centers (out of which, 5000 are already set up). Apart from all these opportunities, this program will also provide employment-access to 4000 village-level youth in the identified rural areas.
