M3M Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the M3M Group, has joined hands with the CII Foundation to mend 3000 youth by providing skill training in various fields. The agreement was signed by Dr Aishwarya Mahajan, President, M3M Foundation, and Sougata Roy Choudhury, Executive Director, CII, at CICI’s office in Gurugram on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day. Dr Payal Kanodia, Trustee, M3M Foundation, pointed out the importance of training and skill development and how it will enable the development of our nation. Skill training is being imparted to thousands of youth in various fields at Tawadu, Gurugram, and Badshahpur in the Nuh district of Haryana and Faizabad in Uttar Pradesh.

By laying the foundation stone of the Gangwal School of Medical Sciences and Technology (GSMST) and Yadupati Singhania Super Speciality Hospital at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur campus, the Union education minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, stated that with the backing of research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK) should strive to improve the ease of living and develop viable solutions for the welfare of humanity. The ceremony was attended by Dr K. Radhakrishnan, chairman of the Board of Governors, IIT Kanpur, and by major donors, alumni, and other invited dignitaries. Prof Abhay Karandikar, Director of IIT Kanpur, shared his vision of assisting India in becoming self-sufficient in healthcare through this venture.
Chennai Corporation invites applications for skill development courses
The Greater Chennai Corporation sought applications for skills development courses such as plumbing, fitting and others at its training institute in Royapettah. The age group for men is 14 to 40 years, whereas there is no age limit for women.
