KSEB is inviting applications for 284 paid apprenticeship training vacancies

The KSEB or the Kerala State Electricity Board Limited have begun inviting online applications for an Apprenticeship training programme from Engineering graduates and diploma holders. There 284 trainee posts vacant for Graduate and Technician Apprentices, 142 each, with a monthly stipend of Rs9000 and Rs8000 respectively. Interested candidates will have to login and apply from the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme or the NATS portal. the deadline for which is till February 14th. Eligible candidates must belong from the state of Kerala and must have received at least 60% marks in their respective courses. Ministries of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship collaborate to bridge gap

In an attempt to bridge workforce and industry gaps, and also keep up with the speedy adoption digital technologies, organisations are suggested to provide skilling, upskilling, and reskilling programmes to their employees. Employers have been complaining about the lack of workforce that possess the skills of a changing workplace. In order to tackle this challenge, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship should work with the Ministry of Education on the budget for 2022 to gain significant ground on the Skill India initiative by upgrading skill development programmes. IGNOU launches two new BA courses in Urdu and Sanskrit for the 2022 session

The Indira Gandhi National Open University or the IGNOU has introduced two new Bachelors programmes under the school of humanities – Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Urdu (BAUDH) and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Sanskrit (BASKH) – which are scheduled to commence from academic session starting January 2022. Interested candidates may enrol themselves from the official website. A project steering committee will monitoring and assessing the success of the program. Nageshwar Rao, Vice-Chancellor of IGNOU, commented that Urdu words are used in everyday language and conversations and this blend is what makes our culture unique.
