Kaushalacharya Samadar 2019 – Celebrating the spirit of Teaching through skill training

On 5th September 2019, the ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship organized the ‘Kaushalacharya Samadar’ 2019 in a bid to motivate and incentivize trainers to join and further propagate the Skill India Mission. Trainers from diverse backgrounds attended the event and which also included trainers from mega corporates like Adobe, Maruti, Microsoft, Bosch and few others.

Shri Raj Kumar Singh, Hon’ble Minister of the State, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, emphasized that the Skill India Mission is the answer to the dearth of skilled workforce in the industrial sector of India and a move to empower the youth of the country with skill and vocational training. By 2022 it is estimated that India will need 2.5 lakh trainers in the skill development sector and to take this mission to new heights, even private organizations have joined hands with the skill training bodies of the state to create an ecosystem of trainers and students.
