Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Jharkhand organised a Session on Build Jharkhand with an objective to focus Skills today in association with UNGC India and Citizens Foundation. The Session deliberated on the increasing role of Skill Development in the overall growth and development of the country as a whole and Jharkhand in particular.

The state of Jharkhand is one of the richest states in India as far as natural resources are concerned. However, the state’s economy is not that thriving one would associate with a state as well-endowed as Jharkhand. Therefore there is a need for intensifying efforts to achieve development both in economic and social spheres so that the state can realize its full economic potential.
