A circular was issued to the higher secondary schools by the Goa Board of Secondary Education to warn them against avoiding industry internship for the students of vocational programs. The circular emphasized that the objective of industrial training is to give students industrial exposure which was not met by these schools.

It further stated that the key is to provide students with the opportunity to identify their operational area of interests which was not being sufficed. The circular mentioned that the schools need to share a compliance report of having acted on the circular.
