On the occasion of the 13th convocation of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu said that the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 will make India a global knowledge superpower!

While addressing the virtual gathering, Shri. Naidu stated that it’s high time for big universities and other educational institutions to restructure their teaching methodologies and equip their teachers with skills on par with the 21st-century requirements. He reminded the audience that only the one who learns and adapts better will prosper. Therefore, one has to “constantly learn, update themselves, and innovate every day”.

Shri. Naidu also added that NEP 2020 draws inspiration from the ancient Indian education system, and highlighted that we have to make our country, a Vishwa Guru in the field of education.
