Australia collaborates with India for skill agenda

The MSDE and the High Commission of Australia have agreed to collaborate to improve skill training in both countries. This is an effort to support Vocational Education and Training (VET). A virtual meeting was conducted to work out the cooperation to promote the development of occupational standards in priority industry sectors.

An MoU on the Cooperation in VET between the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and the Department of Education, Skills was signed on this occasion. These collaborative programs will be helpful for different industry sectors. It can enhance the capacity and quality of trainers and assessors. It will also improve the connection between VET providers and industries in both countries.
