IIT Bombay provides stipend for 20 Apprenticeship Vacancies

IIT Bombay has opened 20 new vacancies for apprenticeship training for graduates in the fields of Arts, Commerce, Business Administration, Management Science, and Business Studies. Candidates selected will be provided with one-year on-the-job training under the provisions for Apprentices Act 1961. With a monthly stipend of Rs 9000, selected candidates will be allowed free OPD facility in case of emergencies but will not be given any travel or accommodation allowances. Interested candidates can submit their applications on or before 20th April 2022 and those selected will join 7 days before the issuing of joining letter. Daikin India inaugurates Daikin Japanese Institute of Manufacturing Excellence (DJIME) at Neemrana as part of CSR Initiative

The Daikin Air-conditioning India Pvt Ltd or Daikin India has launched a new campus at Neemrana, Rajasthan, the Daikin Japanese Institute of Manufacturing Excellence or the DJIME which offers curriculum-based training programmes that includes on-the-job training, soft-skills, HVAC technical know-how, and Japanese manufacturing processes. As a part of Daikin India’s CSR initiative, the trainees will also receive a DJIME certificate once they complete this programme. Training will be provided in areas of quality, safety, discipline, Kaizen, as well as other Japanese shop floor practices to succeed in the workplace. With the aim of educating, certifying, and reaching, 1.5lac Indian youths by the year 2025, this programme will also help the HVAC industry to overcome the existing skill shortage in the market. Force Motors joins hands with ASDC to enhance skill set of dealership employees

According to an official statement, Force Motors and Automotive Skills Development Council or the ASDC have collaborated and signed a service agreement in order to recruit as well as enhance the skill set of the workforce at its dealerships. “Through this strategic service agreement, we will work with ASDC to further upskill the workforce at all our authorised sales and service outlets,” said Ashutosh Khosla, the Sales, Service and Marketing President of Force Motors. Arindam Lahiri, the CEO of ASDC also said that this tie-up will allow the Council to reach a large number of youth, who can be up-skilled and subsequently gainfully employed at their (Force Motors) dealerships. Read more.
