According to staffing companies, due to lockdown, there is a demand for the workforce from e-commerce and delivery, hygiene products and safety gear companies, makers of laptops and tablets as work-from-home and schooling-from-home will be continues for another three-four months, IT and IT-enabled services sectors, processed foods and education.

“We are seeing escalation in the hiring of sectors such as education, healthcare and pharma, e-grocers and delivery apps, security management, fintech and cyber security. The hiring is happening in reaction to demand and not pre-empting demand,” said staffing major TeamLease Services co-founder and EVP Rituparna Chakraborty.
