A 19-year boy, Shubham Singh, from Gurugram has won a medal at the World Skills International Competition that was held in Kazan, Russia. He hails from a family where computer technology is not something very common and he used computer for the first time much later than his peers. His strong passion for software and cybersecurity has fetched him this honor.

World Skills organises the world championships of vocational skills once every two years in different parts of the world to promote the benefits of and need for skilled trade professionals.
The World Skills International Competition 2019 saw more than 1,500 competitors from 60 countries compete in 55 skill competitions.
