Free Vocational Training For Unemployed Youths

Free Vocational Training is being provided for unemployed youth by the Centre for Skilling and Technical Support or the CSTS and the Central Institute of Petro-chemicals Engineering and Technology CIPET as an initiative under the Employment Guarantee Scheme or the EGS. Throughout the duration of the training period, candidates will be provided with food and accommodation for free. The Polymer, Petrochemicals, and Plastics sectors will be provided with training in human resources by CIPET. There are training for three and six months in health, agriculture, automobile, education, transport, and electronics under recycling of polymer or plastic materials and advanced or modern manufacturing technology. Read more.

Tripura govt 25-years action plan will target zero dropout, employability, better infrastructure

The government of Tripura has mapped out an elaborate plan for the next 25 years which will focus on employment opportunities, better employment, and development of infrastructure. Kumar Alok, the State Chief Secretary, announced this during the two-day Vision 2047 workshop which was concluded by a closed-door feedback session chaired by Biplab Kumar Deb, the Chief Minister of the State. “For the past three months, all the departments have been working rigorously to prepare a draft plan and the draft vision is given the final shape through this workshop,” said Kumar Alok regarding the six sectors incorporated in to the 25-year plan. In a statement, Alok also said that uninterrupted water supply to all households, higher employability, industrial development, and zero school dropout rate will be the targets of the Tripura government.
