The Government of India has launched the “Skill India Mission” initiative and is aiming to create a pool of employment-ready skilled young Indians by the end of 2020. This will help match the actual industry requirements. Apart from government initiatives, the corporate sector is also helping in this mission through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

CSR is working to find out the gap between desired skills and available skills. Implementation of the new-age skilling helps fresh job seekers, small entrepreneurs, and experienced employees. CSR is playing the main role in creating a pool of talent, which helps in bridging the skill gap between demand and supply of the workforce.
