Corporate houses operating in Jharkhand suggested a slew of measures to employ the 6.5 lakh-odd migrant workers who returned from across the country to their homes after the nationwide lockdown was imposed.

BJP’s state unit criticised the claims that the government must make public how many migrants have been skill mapped so far. This government has failed to provide jobs. As a result, hundreds of migrant workers, who return to their homes during the lockdown are returning to their workplaces.
