The Twin E-learning program team of Smile Foundation, and Indian Development Organization, has revealed that the service sector will increase hiring by 23% in the year 2022. These sectors include the Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI), retail, and hospitality. The Smile Twin E-Learning Program or STeP was initiated by Smile Foundation in order to train and upskill underprivileged youth belonging to urban slums between the ages 18 and 32, keeping in line with the ‘Skill India’ initiative. STeP has trained more than 65,000 youths, having placed over 45,000 of them in more than 350 brands across the country. Read more.
