AEPC’s training arm ATDC has tied up with 77 factories in Tamil Nadu for a skilling project. The skilling project is funded by the World Bank. The project will provide 3-month classroom training to 240 apprentices in 5 different courses. The apprentices will also go through a 12-month on-the-job training.

World Bank-funded Skills Strengthening for Industrial Value Enhancement (STRIVE) has designed the course to provide the upgraded workforce to the factories. The apprentice will get a stipend during 12-month on-the-job training. They will also get a chance to be absorbed in the same factory.
