Achieving Atmanirbharta through the Amrit Mantra of Digital Education and Dynamic Skilling

As part of achieving Atmanirbharta through the Amrit Mantra of digital education and dynamic skilling, a webinar on implementation of Budget 2022 relating to education sector was organized today. The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi addressed a webinar. Concerned Union Ministers, key stakeholders from education, skill development, science, technology and research were present on the occasion. The webinar was part of the new practice of discussion and dialogue with the stakeholders before and after the budget.

Post Budget Webinar on ‘Leaving No Citizen Behind – Easing Land Governance through End to End Digitization’

Addressing the break out session on ‘Easing Land Governance through End to End Digitization’ Shri Faggan Singh Kulaste, Union Minister of State for Steel & Rural Development emphasized the importance of completion of Digitization of land records to benefit common citizens as envisioned by PM Shri Narendra Modi. He stated that under  Digital India Land Record Modification Program (DILRMP) so far the rights records of 6,10,103 villages out of 6,56,149 villages have been computerized which is 93 per cent. Out of total 1,62,65,879 maps, 1,11,33,332 maps have been digitized which is 68 percent. The Minister also said that The multilingual software application has been started to make land records available in multi-language, through which land records in all languages ​​of Schedule VIII will be available by the year 2022-23. This will solve the problem of the language barrier in financial investment and the integration of the country.

To cater next-generation digital manufacturing and mitigate immediate disabilities of local industries, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister of Electronics & Information Technology, Communications & Railways and Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Electronics & Information Technology and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship released a “National Strategy on Additive Manufacturing” on Thursday 24th February 2022. Shri Ajay Sawhney, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) and Shri Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Departments of Industry & Commerce and Information Technology, Telangana Government attended the event along with senior officials from MeitY.
