Studies show Indian students prefer International Higher Education despite pandemic
According to a recent report for higher education by RedSeer, by the year 2024 Indian students pursuing international higher education is set to reach million. It was also revealed by the UK Home Office that between April 2020 and March 2021, 56,000 student visas were approved for the UK, showing a 13% increase from the year before. The UCAS, or the Universities and Colleges Admissions Services, has also shown a 30% increase in UG applications as well as a 4% rise in Indian applications in June 2021. Education department of Karnataka is eager to reopen schools
The education department of the state is eager to reopen schools for Class 1 to 9, awaiting the Covid19 Techni or TAC to pass a green signal for on-campus classes to resume. It has come to light that most of the infections are of non-serious nature. The education minister, Nagesh, said, “We will apprise the CM of the situation on the ground, especially of the fact that positivity, in the larger scheme of things, among children attending schools is low. Differently-abled consortiums will make individuals self-sufficient and independent
