IndiaSkills Competition the best in India
A webinar was conducted by The Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI) on Wednesday. The ESSCI webinar was mostly about Mobile Robotics with focus on figuring out IndiaSkills 2021 & WorldSkills 2022. It will also help interested candidates prepare to win on the IndiaSkills 2021 & WorldSkills 2022 competitions. Strategic insights were shared by Vibhor Meshram (WorldSkills Champion 2017) and Karan Patil (IndiaSkills Expert) during the webinar. A shout out about both competitions were given by them to increase awareness as well as tips on how to get through the Robotics modules. Employability Skills Programme will be implemented in a few states
DXC Technology and NASSCOM Foundation puts out joint initiative for India. 7,500 underserved students will be benefitted by this collaboration. The initiative is known as the Employability Skills Programme, and DXC Technology and NASSCOM Foundation have great expectations for the same. The programme will focus on 35-plus tier II and tier III technical and non-technical colleges. Students hailing from the states of Telangana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra will be trained on Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Internet of Things, UI-UX design and Cybersecurity. Their training partner will be TMI e2E Academy while the training platform will be NASSCOM and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology’s ‘Future Skills Prime’. Read more.
How India’s economy will be accelerated through skilling
There’s an urgent need to bridge the skill gap in the youth to make them competent for the new market demands. According to Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, bridging skill gaps will also improve the productivity of our workforce. The Vice President on Sunday said that this would be the way to go in order to accelerate India’s economy in the coming years. The Kaushal Vikas Yojana, Udaan etc was called upon in regards to this matter. They are asked to supplement the efforts of the government in training and skill development along with leaders in the industry and the social sectors. Read more.
Bridging gender gaps while bridging skill gaps
There was a three-day skill development training programmes (SDTPs) of the National Youth project (NYP). During the skilling programme it was noted that there was an excess of young girls and women compared to their male counter parts. The coordinators were also happy to have witnessed their active participation in all three days. The skill development training programme reflected the rising role of the feminine gender in the women-centric state. Nampong SDO Idam Bagra made a valedictory faction last Saturday at Nampong. The training aims at making women more self-reliant and more confident and its success is owed to H P Biswas the president of the BY team. Read more.
