Skill Development Centre (SDC) in Greater Noida to boost employability
Farmers’ children have been severely lacking employment opportunities in Greater Noida. To overcome this issue, The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has been taking some steps to ensure skill enhancement. GNIDA will set up the district’s first skill development center (SDC). A collaboration with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) was done for the development of the SDC. At SDC 1,100 youths will be providing training in the first phase. Training would be provided in the sectors of IT and electronics, hospitality, textiles, and gadgets, etc. Greater Noida has entered into a tripartite agreement with the National Industrial Development Corporation of India (NIDC) and Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor-Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Limited (DMIC-IITGNL). A clean, electric India is the future
