Following approval by the Expenditure Finance Committee in September, PMKVY 3.0 is all set to launch shortly in 2021. Under the scheme, 1.3 crore candidates profiles have been uploaded to the ASEEM portal in 2020, which is a directory of certified skilled candidates in the country. Out of these numbers, 14 lakh candidates have scored job offers as well.

Additionally there is a strategy in place to allow for migration of skilled health workers to foreign nations, on the basis of proposals shared by them. Healthcare workers represented by the MDSE, Ministry of External Affairs, Embassy of India in Germany, NSDC and other organisations, are being set up to migrate. Read more.
