India is a younger nation compared to the others with a huge number of unemployed youth. One of the vital reasons behind unemployment is ‘skill gap’. Moreover, the pandemic has completely disrupted the economic condition of the nation.

To address this ‘Skill Gap’ government had set up MSDE and launched multiple schemes under its purview. To incorporate skill development and vocational education within the school system, new National Education Policy 2020 (NEP) is there. The focus of this vocational education will be chosen based on skills gap analysis and mapping of local opportunities.
