COVID-19 has disrupted the way work was done. To help understand the nuances of the future of work, Youth Ki Awaaz in collaboration with International Labour Organisation (ILO), IFAD, the United Nations in India, YuWaah, and UNICEF India conducted its second edition of the #UnitedForHope dialogue.

The session focused on demystifying the future of work, the Indian economy and the scope of employment in India. Four experts were brought into the session where they shared their insights about the employment opportunity of the youths entering the workforce in the post-COVID era. Rituparna Chakraborty, Co-Founder and EVP of Teamlease mentioned about the rapid shift in digitization in the pandemic hit world. She also stressed on the government’s involvement in skilling and education of the youth. The other panellists present include Shraddha Joshi of Mahila Arthik Vikas Mahamandal, Sairee Chahal of SHEROES, and Neil Banerjee of Ogilvy & Mather. Read the complete story here
