KPGU and IG Drones collaborate to build world-class Drone Ecosystem in India
An MoU for establishing a ‘Drone Centre of Excellence’ has been signed between IG Drones and Kiran & Pallavi Patel Global University which also complies with the National Education Policy provisions to impart information regarding drone technology with vocational courses. With this MoU, both parties have collaborated and synchronised the training infrastructure for upskilling youngsters and making them industry-ready. This initiative was undertaken as an attempt to make India the world’s Drone Hub, having a new drone ecosystem as well as 10 million skilled young people underway. Read more.

Local languages being promoted through NEP: President
The President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, is reported to have said that the new National Education Policy is promoting local languages and that the UGC regulations have also been changed in order to link higher education with skill development. “My government is implementing a new National Education Policy across the country to give shape to the resolve and potential of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Local languages are also being promoted through the National Education Policy. Emphasis is being laid on conducting important entrance examinations for undergraduate courses in Indian languages as well,” he said. During his address at the Budget Session, he also mentioned about the Skill India Missions skilling more than 2.25 crore youths through ITIs, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendras, and Jan Shikshan Sansthans.
