58% of the total rural youth secured a job; DDU-GKY winning hearts

As per reports, over 6.27 lakh rural Indian youth (which is around 58% of the total 10.78 lakh) have been already placed under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen KaushalyaYojana (DDU-GKY). DDU-GKY a placement-linked skill development program conceived by the Central Government, for the poor rural youth of India. This ambitious project of the Central Government aims to train and secure a job for 28,82,677 rural youth by March 2022. As per the information provided by the DDU-GKY website, more than 70% of the youth in states like Tamil Nadu, Andhra, Telangana, Odisha, and Jammu and Kashmir is reported to have placed under the scheme successfully.
