India faces three major challenges to skills development in the country.
- Lack of public sector collaboration with industry and the private sector
- Difficulty in international mobility, and
- Low participation of women in the workforce
Along with a lot of other initiatives, the Government is working towards making collaboration with the private sector for better skilling and employment of the skilled youth.
